Sports event

Sir/Madam,
I am
writing in response to you advert concerning the running marathon which will be
taking place next month in our town. I am interested in taking part and I would
like to have some further information.
First of
all, I would like to take part in this event as I am an experienced runner. I
first started running at a young age and I belong to a sports club. Also, I think it would be a nice
experience to run the marathon which
will be held in my home town as all the previous ones in which I have
participated were in other cities.
I would
like to know if any fees apply in order to take part in the event. Also, I
would be grateful if you tell me whether
participants will be provided with equipment or if they will have to use
their own. Finally, my younger sister is also interested in taking part. Please
let me know if there is any age limit for participant.
